About Mark Richard

Mark Richard Insurance Brokers was formed in 1963 by life assurance salesman Dave Wyatt originally operating from his front room. He firmly believed in the personal touch and considered that every customer should be treated individually and with respect.

For more than 40 years the company has grown. It now operates from its local branch network and in this modern era still considers these original principles to be the reason for its success. Our staff now number over 30, the majority of whom have ten or even twenty years experience with the firm. This means they are able to offer knowledgeable as well as friendly and professional advice in all aspects of insurance matters.

Throughout the years of near constant changes in legislation, information technology and insurance buying habits our staff maintain a high level of professionalism, and a willingness to offer advice rather than concentrate on purely price. That is not to say we are uncompetitive; our relationships with insurance companies and size mean we can often obtain favourable terms that others can not.

When you buy an insurance policy you are not buying just a piece of paper you are buying a promise. By offering advice we aim to ensure that the piece of paper lives up to its promise!
